Common questions this answers
- What does Quote Cleanup flag?
- Does it delete freight or terms rows?
- What data leaves my browser?
What it checks
- Customer part numbers, manufacturer part numbers, distributor SKUs, descriptions, quantities, units, unit prices, and extended prices.
- Duplicate parts, missing quantities, missing prices, invalid values, and rows needing review.
- Likely freight, tax, subtotal, title, note, and terms rows mixed into the quote table.
Freight, tax, and terms rows
Quote Cleanup flags these rows so they do not get mistaken for material line items. It does not silently delete them or decide whether they belong in a customer quote.
Enterprise review posture
Use the cleaned preview as a quality-check layer before Quote Compare, PO review, or customer response. Missing values stay visible and need review before totals or reports are trusted.
Privacy behavior
The file is processed in the browser workflow. Raw quote rows, customer names, supplier names, part numbers, descriptions, prices, margins, file names, and spreadsheet contents are not sent to CRM, analytics, or email by default.
