Common questions this answers

  • Who can run comparisons?
  • What does a saved profile store?
  • Can roles hide raw files from teammates?

Workspace roles

  • Owners manage billing and workspace controls.
  • Admins manage workspace controls and members without billing ownership.
  • Members can run workflows, export reports, save profiles, and review rows.
  • Reviewers can review and export reports without changing workspace settings.
  • Viewers can view reports and workspace metadata only.

Saved import profiles

Profiles store workflow settings and column mappings so repeated exports from the same source system are faster. They do not store raw files, source rows, part numbers, descriptions, quote lines, supplier names from uploaded files, prices, or margins by default.

Profile readiness

A strong profile maps part number, quantity, unit, description, and breakdown when those columns exist. Breakdown mapping is important when teams need to scope comparisons by ISO, floor, area, level, phase, or work package.

Permission boundary

Workspace controls govern metadata actions such as report export, saved profiles, invites, billing, and review notes. They are not a cloud file vault; browser-local processing remains the default.
